Scrooge For a Day

Do you remember Jacob Marley? Ebenezer Scrooge’s dead business partner who visits him as a ghost, lamenting his actions in life that doomed him to eternal regret.

Scrooge got a chance to change his legacy thanks to the peeks into his past and future – but what about Marley?

Did Jacob Marley have a chance to leave a legacy other than eternal regret?

The reason I ask is that the decision to re-examine his life is obvious to all of us after Scrooge is confronted by the saddening and terrifying impact of his life choices.

But does it always have to be a tragic or near death experience that makes us realize things are missing in our lives?

I say no.

I say you can be Scrooge for a day and walk away with a different outlook on life.

You don’t want to be like Jacob Marley, forever living with regret.

I’ve given this a lot of thought over the last 6 months ever since I went through my own eye-opening life experience.
