Yes, I’m Frugal!

The Pocket Change blog from Become.com hosted the Festival of Frugality #50 this week. They typically talk about smart shopping but thanks to them for branching out and hosting the Festival of Frugality!

In my Festival of Frugality debut I contributed an article on how I like to look at my saving in relation to my spending. This approach can help us realize when we’re spending dramatically more than we save. It can also encourage us if we feel we’re not saving very much. For example, if we don’t have much money to work with and can’t save very much. As long as the amount we save compares well with how much we spend then we’re doing just fine!
