Win Quicken Premier Home & Business 2006, Deadline Tomorrow!

December 29, 2006

I recently launched a new theme for my blog and am looking for input from those that matter most, the readers! I started a contest last week that ends tomorrow. So far Blaine Moore’s (First Time Home Owner) comments have offered the most value so he’s the guy to beat!

Your comments don’t necessarily have to be about the look and feel of the site. I’d be interested to hear what you think of the content, what you’d like to hear more about from me, or what you think could help improve the site.

Good luck, may the best comment win!

I like the look and feel, it’s fresh. I like the White background and the differing but not outlandish font colouring and I like the fonts too. The three box headline is a good idea too. All in all I like it, who is designing it, and is it available on Wordpress? ;-)

A Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and your readers.

Hi! I must say, I like the look of your site; I dislike extraneous graphics and crazy colors, so your simple white/brown/blue scheme is attractive to me. It’s also helpful that you keep the same font and color scheme for links.

I’m glad your main “title” (Money $mart Life) links to the homepage, but why not have your little slogan beneath link to something? For that matter, are you going to keep updating the links within your three top boxes (Enjoy life. Build wealth, Start today) on a semi-regular basis? If so, then keep the links’ titles short (as you have them now).

Why is your RSS feed so large, but your “What’s new” font so small? Why have both the What’s Hot and What’s New sections anyway? Also I was a bit confused why you would have the option of hiding the categories; personally, I like having teh quick category links.

I don’t know much about coding or html speak, but as a “common person” I find your site easy to navigate and to read. Thanks!

C8j and paigu, thanks for the feedback! Sreejith over at GFXEdit.com put the theme together for me. I would recommend him, he is a great guy to work with and has reasonable rates.

A Happy New Year to you as well!

Got something to say?
