Vote Today - Make Your Parents Proud
November 4, 2008
Not everyone in the world has the right to vote or the freedom to live in a free society. Don’t take the benefits of living in the US for granted, get out and exercise your voice today, VOTE! Here’s a little song for some voting inspiration:
From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there’s pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.
That I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘ Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
Thanks to our parents, grandparents, and those before them who helped shape this country and gave us the right to vote.

Isn’t that just one of the most beautiful songs ever written?
My eyes tear up, literally, every time I hear it
