I am in the camp of never buying a load fund unless it is load waved such as in a 401K plan. Investors should do their homework. Short of that I recommend a fee based advisor or buy good balanced funds.

Thanks for sharing such great post, according to me no load mutual fund is the best option, for that investor should have proper knowledge of stock but if you don't have good information then you have to take some advice from professionals, so load mutual fund also makes sense.

I have to say that there should be absolutely no reason for an investor to invest their money in any kind of load fund. With all the options available these days, there are many no load funds available and paying anything more than you need to is a waste of money. No load index funds are typically an investors best option.
