		<description>&lt;a&gt;I got nailed last year by a thief&lt;/a&gt; and my credit card also detected it and protected me.  I think it&#039;s wrong to wonder what ID theft causes me personally, it should be considered a real crime to society.  I don&#039;t know about you but I get the feeling that ID crime is more-or-less considered a cost of doing business and that it isn&#039;t pursued that much except when it involves large rings.

I suspect, but not sure, that my card info was just stolen by an individual and used a few times then discarded.  I guess it was a clerk at a store.  They never actually got my card, it was still in my wallet, so they must have skimmed it.</description>
