Great tips on an important topic. I live in an old house and reducing drafts is a constant battle. When winter settles in, I usually hang a blanket over my entrance doors. It may not be the "prettiest" fix, but it makes a huge difference in the temperature and allows me to keep my heat turned down and stay warm. Also this year, I bought a few boxes of plastic window covering from Lowe's. It was a couple bucks a box and has supplies to cover three windows. Again, perhaps not the stylist, but does a great job of cutting down on drafts. Save money, save energy, save the planet. For more tips on now to save cash while going green, check out http://www.destroydebt.com/articles/76-ways-to-save-money-while-saving-the-environment.html

You know what's a good, cheap window insulation tip - place a towel on the window sill to seal off the crack where air draft blows in. It helps!!
