Google Finance for Dummies

The Simple Dollar put together a quick overview of Google Finance where he talks about P/E value, F P/E value, beta, and earnings per share. He rounds it out with a short color-coded tour of the charts, news, and industry information available for a company on Google Finance.

My Favorite Features
I love the slick charting features on Google Finance. I also like the snapshot of industry competitors that the related companies list offers. One of my favorite features combines these two elements.

If you click the Compare button right above the chart it will automatically populate several companies from the same industry. A simple click of a checkbox then gives you a visual comparison of how they stack up against competitors over time.
