Give Now, Pay Later – PayPal Sells Us On Credit this Christmas

As I logged into my PayPal account to check on some recent eBay sales last night I was presented with this ad for their PayPal Plus credit card

According to the current online shopping poll at FiveCentNickel, 72% of the respondents have done half, most, or all of their Christmas shopping online. I imagine some of you have used PayPal for a purchase and probably saw this ad.

As a public service announcement, Please don’t listen to PayPal’s advice of “Give Now, Pay Later”. Give, yes, but only what you can afford. If you follow their slogan of “Give Now, Pay Later”, you may be paying later for a long time.
