Comcast Triple Play Promotion vs Double Play Package – Save 39%

Comcast Triple Play bundles digital cable, high speed internet, and VOIP phone service all into one package for customers.  While the convenience of having one bill for all cable, broadband, and phone service is nice, the real benefit to me would be the money you’re supposed to save with the service.  Since you’re using all three services from Comcast they offer you a price break as kind of a package deal.

Does Bundling Save Money?

I know there’s been debate over whether bundling TV, internet access, and phone service similar to the Comcast Triple Play package actually saves you money in the end.  I haven’t spent a lot of time researching how much it could save me, partially because I recently landed a good deal with their Double Play promotion.

Comcast Double Play 

I didn’t need a promotion code or coupon, I simply called up Comcast and asked for a better deal.  I had never heard of the Double Play offer but the phone rep set me up with the deal for the next 12 months.  The plan included digital cable and high speed internet and cut my Comcast bill by 39%.

Comcast Triple Play

Comcast is also offering the Triple Play package which adds VOIP phone service into the service plan but I wasn’t in the market for new phone service.  The Triple Play special they’re running right now does seem like a pretty good offer, it includes all of the free equipment and money below:
