Free Stock Trades at USAA Online Brokerage

Free stock trades when you open a brokerage account with USAA! I just got the email below from USAA, 25 free trades when you open an account and $5.95 per trade after that. Of course $5.59 isn’t as cheap as Zecco or TradeKing but who can turn down 25 free stock trades? Here’s the body of the email:

Of course the catch is that not everyone is eligible to be a USAA member. You have to be a current or former member of of the Armed Forces, in the National Guard, or a child of someone in the military to be a USAA member.
